Treasured Lands
Photographs of National Parks by Q.T. Luong
Artist Walk Through and Book signing:
Friday, June 23, 2017 noon and Monday, June 26, 7pm
QT Luong, a San Jose CA resident, spent more than 20 years to photograph America's national parks. He is the only photographer known to have made large-format photographs in all 59 national parks. That project earned him a spot as a character in the Ken Burns and Dayton Duncan PBS series The National Parks: America’s Best Idea (2009).
For the first time, South Bay Area residents have the opportunity to view QT Luong traveling exhibit of photographs of each the 59 US national parks, as it returns home from its national tour. The exhibit will be on display from May 26, 2017 through June 20, 2017 at the Art Ark Gallery in San Jose, CA. During the events, QT will also sign his new book, "Treasured Lands: A Photographic Odyssey Through America’s National Parks" (TreasuredLandsBook.com), which won four different national book awards in the last two months.
