Betty Krausse "Blueberry Hill"
Emergence: Curated By Al Preciado
Opening in Conjunction with Fuze Gallery
Welcome Back to the Art World!
July 3rd: Opening 6pm-9pm
After months of sheltering, it is wonderful to be part of an exhibition with other like-minded artists. Many artists have been in a cocoon of creativity and have used SIP to rest, reconnect and make art. Others have been holed up in an active recovery trying to make sense of this new world. And some, searching for meaning and finding none, have bedded down with familiar fears and insecurities. This is art by the bold who faced uncertainty and continued to create. The unfamiliar is always close to those seeking truth and art and freedom of expression.
This show brings many artists of diverse abilities and ages together and showcases painting, sculpture, mixed media and photography.

Advice for emerging young artists:
- Be around other great artists or people that try to make a difference.
- Speak up, speak out, and don’t be spoken for.
- Always be drawing ideas in your head, on paper, or on your computer.
- Give to the homeless and poor. This is not a plea, this is not a suggestion, this is a command.
- Never forget that family and friends have been there for you. Honor them with the truth.
- Remember that art is a lover that never leaves you.
