Programming:
Art Ark Gallery hosts monthly exhibitions in conjunction with South First Friday's Art Walk except the months of January and July. The Gallery offers two residencies for artists from mid-December to mid-February (Winter), and mid-June to mid-August (Summer). This two month residency culminates in a solo exhibition at Art Ark Gallery. Residency Proposals: Please email [email protected]. The subject line must read, "Residency Proposal". Include 3-5 images of past work (preferably representative of the work you are proposing), a brief proposal less than 500 words, residency season, and a link to your wesite. Proposals will be juried by a committee. Winter proposals due by October 15th. Summer propsals due by April 15th.
Exhibition Proposals should include a short description of the proposed theme or concept of the show, names of the participating artists with links to their website or examples of their artwork, and the name and contact information for the curator including a phone number. Also include the preferred dates of the art exhibition. The Gallery generally books shows 6 - 8 months in advance.
Waiver: Art Ark Gallery is not responsible for damage or theft of art exhibited in the gallery. Nor is the gallery liable for bodily injury. Therefore all participating artists and curators are required to sign a waiver form acknowledging their understanding of this policy.
